Short BIOs:

Grey:
Grey is the leader of the Astray Meisters. He was born an orphan, and later was adopted by the same people who adopted Amarillo. His original Gundam is the Red Frame, which he later upgrades several times, into the Powered Red, and Mars Jacket, Red Frames. Grey is an eccentric, 19 year-old, pilot who enjoys tinkering with machinery, even though he has no knowledge of how machines work. More times than none, Grey 'accidentally' gets his invetions to work. He also designed a 150 meter long GN Katana for the Powered Red Frame.

Grey is friends with all of the other Astray Meisters, and has a deep relationship with the Commander. Grey's closest friends are Gurren, his pet Shiba, Azul, and his foster sister Amarillo.

Azul:
Azul, 19, is the Pilot of the Gundam Astray Blue Frame, and best friend of Grey. Originally a member of a certain street gang, Azul was picked up to join team Astray. Azul is not very sure of the commanders orders, but trusts Grey's judgement and will loyal follow orders even with his doubts. However, Azul is the most likely to lead a mutiny amongst the Astray Meisters.

Amarillo:
Foster sister of Grey, Amarillo Pilots the Gold Frame and Gold Frame <AMATU>. She suffers from a strong big brother complex, which borderlines obsession. In all reality, it is fair to say Amarillo is in love with her foster brother. She is only 2 years younger than Grey, but still calls him big Brother, or Onii-sama. Amarillo is also the only one Grey has told about his relationship with the Commander.

Green/Save:
Pilot of the Green Frame. Green appears to be 18, however he is actually an Innovator, and therefore has no definite age. His true name is Save Savior, however the Astray team has nicknamed him Green. Green acts more human, than any other Innovator. Green has taken an interest in inventing and therefore works closely with Grey. Thanks to their combined effort the duo invented AI mini-machines that take the form of MP3 Players and Cellphones. These mini-machines are similar to Haros, however are easier to hide. Green's closest ally, other than Grey, is a robotic dog-like droid he himself created. Also, Green is not afraid to share the fact that he is not human, and therefore, everyone in team Astray knows this valuable secret.

Silver:
Silver's Astray is the unique Astray Out-Frame. This Astray only carries 2 Beam Swords as weapons, however it is also equipped with the a unique Camera Gun which Silver uses for reconnaissance. Silver, 18, is happy-go-lucky about everything and does not let anything ruin her mood. Aside from Grey, Silver is the least likely to betray team Astray. She greatly admires Green, and therefore has modelled her outfit after his.

Commander Amanda Goodwind:
Amanda Goodwind commands team Astray and pilots the Delta and Turn Delta Gundam units, and also co-pilots the Out Frame with Silver. Amanda is a strict, 21 year-old, woman who ruthlessly commands the team to eliminate certain enemy mobile suits and facilities, with little care for any civilians. She gives off a cold and heartless air, however she shared a deep bond with Grey and treats him with love and respect, unlike the other members who she merely orders around like dogs. However, Amanda does also understand the needs of the team, as most of them are only human- save for Green.

A final note before I begin, I, Zero, am known to curse and swear often, so if rude language offends you, do not read this fan fic. Also, I tend to borrow from the Japanese language, so once again, if something like that irks you, don't read. Lastly, since this is still a rough idea in my mind, I will probably be bouncing around time periods until I set a stable timeline.

Sub note: The animals and effects you see with the pilots, are a type symbol for each character, except the Shiba and Robot, those are actual pets.

Grey lay on his bed, looking up at the ceiling. He had just arrived back in his room after spending the better half of the night in Commander Amanda's bed. She had been his first time... It felt really good... Grey thought. He lay awake for about a minute longer, and slowly drifted off to the land of dreams. Tomorrow morning would bring a big mission with it.

Elsewhere on the Epyon space battleship, Amarillo lay in her bed, feeling deeply saddened and hurt, as if she had just been betrayed by her dearest ally. She had seen Grey go into the Commander's personal quarters earlier. She waited to see how long they would take, and soon heard noises coming from inside. She knew what they were up to, but still could not believe it. Originally, Amarillo had planned to spend a romantic night alone with Grey, but after tonight's events, she knew any chance of this would be close to impossible. Grey sincerely loved the Commander, and she appeared to love him back.

Amarillo had known this for months, and had repeatedly tired, and failed, to win Grey's attention. Azul had suggested Amarillo throw herself at Grey. A shameless tactic that Amarillo had pondered on for some time. She even attempted this move once, however an urgent mission had ruined the moment. Slowly, Amarillo also began to fall asleep, tears still in her eyes.

The following morning, Grey awoke and dressed himself for the day ahead. He exited his room and walked toward the cafeteria to eat some breakfast. Along the way, he encountered the team's Innovator, Green. Green and Grey chatted about their Gundams' specs and what they could do to improve them as they went to get breakfast.

"So, are you going to use the Powered Red Frame's 150m Katana today?" Green inquired.

"No, I think I'll equipped the Mars Jacket Full Armour this time. This mission requires the Mars Jacket's special defence system." Grey said in response.

"Heh, you just want to use that Beam Naginata again, don't lie!"

"What the hell?! Just how the hell did you know that?"

"Ah ha ha ha hah! It was obvious. Ever since you got that thing, all you've been thinking about is when you are going to use it."

"Hey! Good Morning boys!" Green and Grey looked for the source of the greeting. Suddenly, a blond haired woman appeared behind Green. She quickly wrapped her arms around his neck from behind.

"Good morning, Green-kun~!" She said making a cute face. Green had been caught off guard by this early morning greeting.

"Oh, good morning Silver-chan. I see you are as lively as ever!" Green greeted her. "But, must you always sneak up on me like this? Can't you ever just act normally?"

"Oh? I thought this was normal. After all, I this is part of my morning ritual! And you don't want me to stop my morning ritual, now do you?" Silver asked. Her face was that of a cute little girl, but her voice had a menacing undertone.

Green fell silent and the three continued toward the cafeteria. Green practically carried Silver the entire way, while she chanted "Dango~, dango~, dango~!" Grey found this scene to be very amusing, but to Green's discontent.

After eating a hearty breakfast, Grey sneaked away from the cafeteria alone and headed for the hanger. I cannot fail the mission today. was the only thought going through Grey's head at that moment. He had been assigned to assist his sister with retrieving supplies from a Human Reform League space station. The Astrays were running low on supplies, and Amarillo had failed twice to steal the supplies, even with her Gundam's ability to turn invisible.

*Flashback 2 days previous*

Grey had been passing by the commander's office, when he heard yelling and crying coming from within. Grey knew better than to intervene, however fate demanded his presence in that room, for mere seconds later, Commander Goodwind had flung the door open and nearly hit Grey's face with it.

"Just where is Gr- Oh! Grey! Sorry, I didn't see you there." She apologized, her voice still cold even though she was apologizing. Though many would think nothing of it, Grey found her voice to be, in an extremely distorted way, very sexy. "Actually, I need to see you in my office right now. Your sister has failed for the second time to take those supplies." Commander Goodwind continued.

Grey was filled with embarrassment, he had personally trained his sister in piloting a mobile suit. To hear that she failed twice was disgraceful. Regardless, Grey followed the commander back into her office and took a seat next to Amarillo. He did not look at his sister, which caused her to tears to start up again. Grey extended his hand and gently rubbed her head, as if he was trying to rub away her sadness and despair.

Commander Goodwind looked Grey right in the eyes and began speaking. "Grey... Dear, dear, Grey. I know you might not want to hear this, however, seeing as how Amarillo has failed twice, I want you to accompany her this time to retrieve those supplies." Grey's hand twitched as he heard the commander's order.

Grey had been partnered with his sister many times in the past. He had no problem with it before, for he knew she would eventually gain enough skill to manage a mission on her own, however, this time, Grey felt angered and betrayed. He scanned his commander's eyes. To most, Amanda Goodwind's eye were sea of cold emerald, but to Grey was able to see beyond that and into her thoughts.

After a moment of silence, Grey stood up and saluted his commander. "Ma'am, if you so order me, I will do as you ask." The commander nodded her head, and Amarillo smiled brightly knowing she would work with her brother once more.

Back in the present, Grey had entered the hanger and ordered for his Red Frame to be equipped with the full Mars Jacket, and an extra beam rifle. Other than Amarillo, Azul would be partaking in this mission as well.

Grey went over the battle plan in his mind. First, He and Amarillo would launch. Next, Amarillo would activate her cloaking, and Grey would draw all the attention from the enemies onto himself. Third, Azul would arrive and ensure Amarillo escaped the area, while Grey began his real mission.

Grey, Azul, and Amarillo were set to begin their mission. The Red, Blue, and Gold frame were prepped and raring to go. Grey took one last look around the hanger, as his partners urged him to pick up the pace and launch. After about 5 minutes, Grey was finally ready to launch.

"Fuego Grey Matsumoto, Red Frame Mars Jacket. LET'S ROCK THIS BITCH!" Grey constantly screamed this line with much enthusiasm before every launch.

Amarillo giggled happily as he gripped the controls. It had been a long time since she had gotten to hear those lines from Grey.

"Amarillo Matsumoto, Gold Frame <AMATU>. Shooting beyond time and space!" Amarillo launched last and the duo regrouped outside the ship, while Azul remained in standby for his time to launch.

The Red Frame took the lead, while the Gold Frame followed directly behind Red. Both suits travelled with great speed to cover the even greater distance quickly. Before long, Grey and his sister had reached the appointed target right on schedule.

"Ama, turn on the cloaking and follow me to the split point. Remember, wait for the entrance to be unguarded before you make a move. By the time they realize they were robbed, the mission should be over." Grey instructed. Amarillo looked to the space station. It seemed like such a weak place. She began to wonder why she had had so much trouble, but quickly returned to reality and activated her cloaking system.

Grey rushed toward the station at top speed, not even attempting to hide his presence. He took aim at the station and prepared to fire, however, a platoon of High Mobility Space Tierens appeared and surrounded Grey in mere seconds. With the targeted entrance completely unguarded, the Gold Frame sneaked inside the station with the utmost of ease.

"Another one of those weird mobile suits, huh? Well, the last one was of no trouble, let's blast this one back into the hole it crawled out of. OPEN FIRE!" Ordered one of the enemy pilots. The Tierens raised their guns and took aim at Grey. All at once, as if rehearsed, the Tierens fired together at Grey.

The smoke from he impact dissipated, but what appeared within the smoke cloud horrified all the pilots. There was not anything there, only the remains of one of their own men.

Suddenly, two shots fired down and destroyed two more Tierens. Looking up, the Tierens became cannon fodder for Grey's Rifles. "Hasta la vista, fools!"

Beams rained down on the Tierens like hail. Grey's rapid attacks made the enemy seem as if they were standing still. More Space Tierens appeared and began to open fire on Grey, who again unleashed a hail of beams shots at them, while flying around and leading them further from their base.

One of the pilots seemed to have caught on to Grey's rouse, and called out and order to stop. "Hold it! Cease all movements! He's only trying to distract us! He's trying to give the invisible mobile suit a chance to- GAH!"

A shot from behind had silenced the pilot before the other pilots had heard him. The others suddenly turned round and were greeted by another barrage of beams, only this time it was from Blue Frame Second L's Gallanting Beam gun.

"Am I late, bro?" Azul asked Grey, who was partaking in this pincer attack.

"Heh, a little early I think. Whatever, lets do this thing!" Grey responded.

In unison, both men cried out, "LET'S SHOOT 'EM UP!" as they eliminated the remaining Tierens. At the exact same moment, the Gold Frame <AMATU> was leaving the HRL Station with the supplies they needed.

"Nii-sama, I'm done here. I'm heading back to he ship!" Amarillo called out. Grey and Azul moved to cover her as even more Tierens appeared to give chase.

Fed up with how slow things were going, Grey activated the cannons on the Red Frame's back. The pair of cannons slid over the Red Frame's shoulders and fired at the Tierens. In a single shot, 50% were eliminated.

"That's the way the cookie crumbles." Grey teased, just as the Gold Frame had escaped the area. Now it was time to begin the real mission.

Grey and Azul examined the remaining Tierens. These seemed to be the second last wave which remained as a defence for the station. The mobile suits recovered quickly from the last assault and took to the defencive this time. Grey signalled Azul to cover him in the Blue frame. In an instant the Blue frame's tactical arms had gone to turret mode and Azul took aim at the enemies.

"Standby, I've got to deliver the warning first." Grey instructed. Azul obeyed and remained where he was while Grey moved in a little closer to the station. Immediately, a single mobile suit fired at him. The shot collided with the Red Frame's thick armour, but it did not leave even a scratch.
